How do you prevent mites from getting in?

In the wild many birds have mites. When these birds have access to the henhouse they can introduce red mites. Prevent wild birds from entering the henhouse or chicken run. Bought birds can also introduce mites. Preferably they should be placed in a quarantine cage for a few days and be fed on feed to which Finecto+ Oral has been added to drive the mites from the animal. This will also prevent infection with feather and/or shaft mites. Afterwards clean the quarantine cage and treat it with Finecto+ Protect. The final infection route is via humans. When you visit another hen or bird lover or when you receive visitors, make sure that good hygienic practices are in place before you enter the pens. Changing your clothes and showering is enough.
